Travel in Patagonia
Stay from March 8, 2024 to March 23, 2024Sixteen days in Patagonia: Buenos Aires, Bariloche, El Calafate, El Chalten, Torres del Paine Park.
A trip decided a few weeks before, a vague idea of an idyllic and fantasized destination, a few words about our desires (discovery, freedom, wide open spaces, nature) and Boris with his acolytes responded beyond our expectations.
Sixteen rich and intense days, during which we were able to observe and understand what constitutes the Patagonian myth, obviously discovering its panorama and its landscapes, but also its people, its culture, in short its singularity in today’s world.
From Buenos Aires, we caught a glimpse of the vitality, enthusiasm, excitement and wealth of this capital.
And then we quickly escaped into the Patagonian spectacle in Bariloche, with multiple activities that suited us (trekking, rafting, discovery of an estancia and its gauchos, …) with guides, or rather women and men, who made us appreciate their daily life, enter into their culture and love their country.
We then flew to El Calafate, for a second week of freedom, marveling at the glaciers, the mountains, the valleys, the nature, driving on the endless roads of Patagonia, walking to reach the hidden wonders of El Chalten and Torres del Paine Park! It’s hard to put these days into words, and it was so hard to go home!
No false notes for this vacation off the tourist circuit as we like them. The accommodations, the recommendations, the journeys, everything was perfect for us and made us feel like we were Boris’s only customers! A special thank you to Mariana who followed us from the first to the last day and answered our questions, even the most trivial, with appreciable responsiveness.
This stay obviously calls for others and all Boris’s mischief is there: making us want to come back to discover other places, other landscapes, other cultures, and above all, letting him organize all of this for us with a master’s hand!
So see you soon!
