Departing from Puerto Pañuelo

Here’s the program for the day: Starting from Puerto Pañuelo in San Carlos de Bariloche, we sail on the most important arm of the Nahuel Huapi lake “El Blest” along 22 km, after passing the Centinela islet where the remains of the Argentine explorer Francisco Pascacio Moreno rest, called Perito Moreno.

Once in Puerto Blest, you reach Lake Frías of an indescribable green color. A great local classic, but not to be missed!

Crossing the lakes to Chile

Incredible route by boat and bus, the best in the region for those who have the time: We leave in the morning from Puerto Pañuelo, in Bariloche, to sail on the most important arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi “El Blest”, then, to access Lake Frías, the junction is by bus.

We cross Lake Frías to pass into Chile and continue sailing on Lake Todos los Santos. It’s possible to disembark at Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas, arriving around 9 p.m. A cruise with sumptuous natural settings.

On the Lake Argentino

This is an extraordinary cruise! starting from Puerto Bandera in El Calafate, we sail on Lake Argentino to observe several glaciers, accessible only by the lake. We navigate on the “Brazo Norte” (“north arm”) of the lake towards the Upsala glacier.

Then, we sail to “Bahia Onelli”, from where we cross the Onelli, Agassiz and Bolados glaciers. Finally, continuing the navigation, we observe the Spegazzini glacier. During the austral summer, this cruise is a great classic but it is definitely worth doing!!!

Torres del Paine National Park

On the program: passage of the Beagle Channel and the Murray Channel, then through the Cabo de Hornos National Park (Cape Horn – UNESCO biosphere reserve), Bahía Wulaia, Günther Plüschow glacier, Magdalena Island.

There are one or two outings per day to observe the wildlife more closely (days 2 and 3 of the cruise). Meals are of course provided on board.
